DROPS OF NETS Please note that due to the non-rigid construction of nets, the drop is always approximate and may be slightly longer and shorter. Please make sure you have ordered the correct size as we can not accept returns or refund on net curtains.

GATHER If you want a very modern look we would recommend 1.5 x the window , the most common is 2 x the window, but for extra privacy we would recommend 2.5 x the window and for sheer luxury you should order 3 x the window width

HOW TO MEASURE INSIDE RECESS Measure from the fitting [ wire / rod ] straight down to the window sill, this gives you your drop and then from one side to the other side [ left to right ] of the window frame and this gives you your width OUTSIDE RECESS Measure from the top of the pole/track to where you want your nets to finish at the bottom and this gives you your drop, and then measure your pole / track from end to end and this gives you your width

WIRE / ROD / POLE / TRACK The good old way is to hang them on the net curtain wire its ideal for flat or bay windows and can be used on wooden or upvc windows [ via drilling ]. The modern way is the spring loaded tension rods [ flat windows only ] ideal for upvc windows no drilling or sticking. If you want to use the net as a curtain [ to slide it back and forth ] then you want the net pleat tape sewn on the back so you can hang it on a normal curtain track or pole

CUT OFF THE ROLL OR MADE TO MEASURE Most nets are ready to hang with a 1.5" slot top for a wire or rod and they come in set drops from 12" to 120" [ depending on design ], if you want a drop in between the standard drops you want to order a made to measure and thes are made to your exact size and the sides will be stiched.

PLEATING TAPE A 2" clear net pleat tape can be sewn on to all the curtains we display on this site, if you want another style of tape sewn on please email us using the contact form for us to send you a quote

WHITE OR CREAM White for a cool crisp look or cream for a warm natural look. We would recommend white for white window frames and cream for wood effect window frames

WASHING AND IRONING We would recommend you wash your nets either by hand or in a washing machine at 30''''c [ pop them into a pillowcase ] and a slow spin, hang them up damp so they dry in to their folds, if you like to iron them you may do so useing a low/warm setting with plenty of steam.
